Although the article points out that the average cost of LED lighting is 20 times more than conventional lighting, businesses save on maintenance costs because the lifespan of LEDs are 10 times greater than other lighting.
For some businesses, the savings on labor and material make LEDs the best choice if their properties have a lot of outdoor pole lighting and indoor architectural lighting which are challenging to replace every couple of years.
