Hi! This is Franky from Franky's Electrical. Today I wanted to share a short video with you relating to common electrical problems and installation shortcuts I see in the field. These problems not only occur in residential homes, I have also found them in commercial businesses.
You would be, (maybe you wouldn't), surprised at what I see in the field. Most of my time is spent repairing work that was done as a "shortcut" to just get the homeowner by on the cheap.
The problem with electrical work is that getting by on the cheap can, at the least, cost you more money in the long run, at the most, seriously injure or kill you if done improperly.
Lastly, take precautions when doing it yourself. make sure the electrical main is shut off at the panel before you replace outlets or install your own lighting fixtures.
